About the Parent Executive Board
The Parent Executive Board (PEB) is a group of inspired parents driving transformative change at UC Irvine. Through their involvement with the Anteater Grant Initiative (AGI) — a program that supports the development and continuation of student-facing programs — members contribute leadership-level gifts and play an active role in the submission process, gaining a heartwarming view of the programs’ success during the awardee reveal each May.
In addition to their work with the AGI, members enjoy unique engagement opportunities within the university, connecting with staff and leadership for insights into upcoming programs, initiatives, and plans. Designed to deepen parental engagement while making a meaningful impact, the Parent Executive Board offers a fun and fulfilling way to make a difference.

Frequently Asked Questions
The annual membership is $5,000. This contribution directly supports student success and can be broken up in several ways:
- All $5,000 put toward supporting the PEB’s Anteater Grant Initiative
- $3,500 toward the Anteater Grant Initiative and $1,500 toward any area on campus meaningful to you
- $3,500 toward the Anteater Grant Initiative and $1,500 to a concurrent membership within the Chancellor’s Club. The Chancellor’s Club supports first-generation undergraduate student scholarships and graduate fellowships.

- Not local? No Problem! PEB members serve on the board from all over the map. Our board meets 4 times a year — 3 in person during the school year and 1 time on Zoom over summer. These meetings are often scheduled around major university events where it is more likely you would be here anyway!
Membership includes:
- Invitations to unique events and exclusive engagement opportunities
- Foster meaningful connections with staff and campus leadership and experience insight into university initiatives, programs and upcoming plans
- Network and engage with fellow parents, alumni, & students and hear firsthand the impact of philanthropy on students educational journeys
- Help advance the universities priorities, like student’s success, through ambassadorship and relationship building
- Partner with the Parent Executive Board in the creation and execution of engagement opportunities
- Have an active role in the Anteater Grant Initiative submission and reveal process
